It’s a little ghetto, but at least the view is nice.

This is sooo interesting. Also, it’s time to eat that banana.
hp and narnia
For some reason I just checked the searches people have done that showed my blog as a result. Apparently people are searching for corn mazes and get to my blog (that was actually the highest search – 6 people got to my blog from searching “corn maze”…weird) even though I think I’ve posted about corn mazes all of like once ever. But “adrien rowling”! That actually made me happy. Hah. I only wish I was related to J.K. Rowling (of course that’s the first thing I thought). And as far as people searching the Pevensie house: well, I just hope they agreed with me once they saw what I actually posted.
up

Sometimes I like to lie on the floor in my living room. I don’t know why I do it – maybe a change of perspective? Anyway, this time I was lying on the floor by my bookshelves. I forgot how pretty this copy of The Lord of the Rings is (thanks, Mom!). Maybe someday I will actually read it. I’ve seen the movies a million times (including the extended versions, which Eric and I just rewatched recently) but never read the book. Shameful.
I also love that this picture features some of my favorite books – including the Harry Potter series (obv-iously) and all the books by Connie Willis. Oh, and the “I Can Haz Cheezburger?” collection.
Happy March!
march photo a day

I’m going to keep going! Otherwise I’ll probably never blog again.
something i’m listening to
I downloaded an app on my phone that les me access my google music account which is basically my iTunes (my iPod died an that makes me sad). So now I can listen to my music away from my computer again. Yay!
Also. This is the last day of the February photo a day thing. But I’ve kind of enjoyed blogging something every day (even though they are generally small and meaningless things) and this is mostly for me anyway. So I think I’m going to do the March photo a day thing too. Sorry if it’s too much, but I like it. Onward!
money

Kind of a bad picture. Apologies. This is a 1932 wheat penny I found in my wallet. I checked online and it is worth approximately $1.20 today. I can retire early!!!!

green

This is my trusty kitchen plant. I think this plant has lived the longest of any plant I have ever owned (minus the ones in our yard growing up that I helped plant and therefore claimed as my own but really they only lived because my Dad took care of them like all the other plants). It’s getting kind of wonky though and wants to grow through the blinds and maybe also fall into the sink.
