something i’m listening to

20120229-161603.jpg

I downloaded an app on my phone that les me access my google music account which is basically my iTunes (my iPod died an that makes me sad). So now I can listen to my music away from my computer again. Yay!

Also. This is the last day of the February photo a day thing. But I’ve kind of enjoyed blogging something every day (even though they are generally small and meaningless things) and this is mostly for me anyway. So I think I’m going to do the March photo a day thing too. Sorry if it’s too much, but I like it. Onward!

money

Kind of a bad picture. Apologies.  This is a 1932 wheat penny I found in my wallet. I checked online and it is worth approximately $1.20 today. I can retire early!!!!

green

This is my trusty kitchen plant. I think this plant has lived the longest of any plant I have ever owned (minus the ones in our yard growing up that I helped plant and therefore claimed as my own but really they only lived because my Dad took care of them like all the other plants). It’s getting kind of wonky though and wants to grow through the blinds and maybe also fall into the sink.

bathroom cabinet

I don’t really have cabinets (besides the cupboards for the towels and the cupboard under the sink where my cleaning supplies and Harry Potter live). Instead, I have cubbies/shelves behind the door that are built into the wall. Mine is messy and kind of hard to get to. The cats have a bed in the bottom cubby.

where i work

Ok, so I’m a slacker and still didn’t take a picture of my work, which would have been the museum (today) or the old Provo Tabernacle site (yesterday). Since there is no photo, here’s a news article from last week that is old news to everybody who cares. But I still feel like I should post it. I was supposed to be there when they came and did the story, but I had to go to a meeting. Oh well.

It’s been a lot of fun working at the Tabernacle once a week, and I’m excited for what we’re going to find when we pull up the large rocks in the center of the building.

shoes

These are my work boots for working at the Provo Tabernacle site, which is what I did for 8 hours today.

Also I forgot to take a picture of “work” yesterday and also today so I’ll do it tomorrow. Yay!
