nothing really

I can’t say anything too interesting has really been happening lately, which is the reason for the lack of blog posts for the last…4 months. We’ve been busy, and things have pretty much been the same for the last little while.

But now it’s almost the end of the semester! BYU has finals this week (I need to turn in papers and help finish the exhibit) and UVU’s finals are next week (Eric has a couple of projects to finish for his classes and I have to give and grade a final for my class) and then we are done with the semester! We are both sooo ready for the summer.

Oh, in case any of the 4 people who might read my blog don’t know, I’m going to be here during June and July:

I have a collections internship at the Smithsonian American History museum, which I am super excited about. Eric won’t be coming out with me because he has a real job, but he’s going to come visit me for the 4th of July. Shannon is also going to come visit me while I’m out there and we’re going to go to New York to see the Harry Potter exhibit and hopefully see “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” on Broadway.

I don’t think Eric’s too broken up about not coming out with me, because he’ll probably spend his 9 weeks at home golfing and hiking and playing video games to his heart’s content.

Anyway, a week and a half til relative freedom!

  2. That’s so wonderful! Congrats! I’ll be at the Smithsonian here and there over the summer…I’d love to meet up! Email me and let me know where you are staying too, so that I can keep an eye on you while you are here.
